    Edison Business Advisors, the most awarded and highest credentialed business brokerage firm in Southwest Florida since 2014, is excited to announce the opening of a Columbus, Ohio office and the addition of Ray Skaug.  Skaug will be managing the Columbus office.

    Skaug has over 30 years of management, operations, consulting, and financial analysis experience in a wide variety of business venues. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).  He was previously an officer with a national bank and taught managerial finance and entrepreneurial management at the college graduate level as an adjunct professor.

    Skaug also owns Rainer Business Intelligence.  His company developed BizProBI Insight Reports a proprietary business intelligence platform.  The reports facilitate early-stage financial analysis assisting business owners to maximize value and exit on their terms.  BizProBI Insight Reports are now available to Edison Business Advisor clients at a reasonable fee.

    2021 has been a record-breaking year for Edison Business Advisors.  Steve Niehaus transacted a $5 million aluminum products manufacturer in Southwest Florida in March.  Eric Gall transacted a $15 million machine shop in Pennsylvania in April.  Total volume for deals transacted and presently in escrow intermediated by Gall, Niehaus, and Mike Pfeffer year-to-date is nearly $35 million.
